Oh, how has a year gone by so fast? My little baby keeps growing and growing. She's so entertaining and very curious. She likes the sound of her voice and she likes to "sing" sustained notes. I always join in with her and her face lights up.
Emily's been sick for almost a week but I think the worst is over. Last week my mom was visiting us for a few days. It was so much fun!! I really miss her. It's hard sometimes to be so isolated from family.
I sent out birthday party invitations already. And I know which cake and smash cake I want to order. I think it'll be a very nice first birthday party with family and a few close friends. We'll be having the party on April 17 at our house. Feel free to send Emily birthday cards!! I am going to make a time capsule for her. We've asked family to write her a short letter as a keepsake.
