So much room!
Our new CR-VHello! Just wanted to blog about our new vehicle, the Honda CR-V. We had decided to get rid of the Ford Ranger since it was going to cost a lot of money to fix. So on Saturday, January 29, Jon drove the truck to the Honda dealership and I followed in the Altima with Emily. I was a little nervous about test driving the CR-V. Jon held onto Emily while I drove the CR-V with the Honda rep. I really liked it! I kept thinking I might find something wrong with it but I never did. When I got back to the lot, I told Jon that I wanted it. So we traded in the truck and we got the CR-V. It's Glacier Blue and has tinted windows. I didn't like the other colors once I saw them in person but this blue color was very nice. And there's so much room on the inside!! It's got a 6 CD changer and radio/CD control on the steering wheel.
So the next day was Sunday and wouldn't you know it but our Altima starts acting up. Jon and I decided that maybe it's time to get rid of the Altima too. On Monday morning Jon calls me from work and says he's on his way back to the Honda dealership to lease a new Honda Civic! So now we have two new vehicles. The Civic is a four door sedan and is jet black with tinted windows. It's like a small spaceship. It's so funny how in a matter of days we ended up with two new vehicles. But safety is important and our older vehicles weren't going to last very long.
I'm posting some pictures of the CR-V. We also got Emily a new car seat. It's a Britax Marathon 65. Our Graco My Ride 65 was just giving us a hard time with not being able to properly secure Emily. Everyone told us Britax was the way to go and they were right. I'll be blogging about the winter weather soon with pictures!
